VEHICLE ACCESS via Guelph Line (Halton 1) south from Hwy 401 or north from Hwy 407 and the QEW. Paid Parking
Alternatively, parking is available on Walker's Line and Side Road 2. From there, the park is accessed via a Bruce Trail Side Trail (blue blazes), up the moderately difficult slope of the Escarpment. Paid parking
TRAIL ACCESS: From the Guelph Line parking lot, a flat 1km walk along Ontario's Bruce Trail takes you to the Brock Harris Lookout. From there, you can hike the South Loop Trail (~2km) or the North Loop Trail (~2km). Both loops end up back at the main trail in.
PHOTO FEATURES: The main attractions here are the views from the high, sheer cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, the cliff face itself, and the various slit caves that traverse the site.
NATURAL FEATURES: Excellent location to photograph hauntingly beautiful turkey vultures on the wing and perching on tree limbs. Otherwise, the forest and much of the park is an unremarkable mix of cedar forest and immature mixed forest.
TRAIL NOTES: Stay on the trail! The high, steep cliffs make this area spectacular, but also very dangerous. The forest trails are slippery when wet or snowy.
