PHOTO FEATURES: With Carolinian forests, mixed forests, fields and an orchard, plus numerous trails up and down and across the valley, the photographic possibilities are as endless as the plant communities found here. Spring Creek provides additional features as well as a few small waterfalls. See the Trail Map for details.
NATURAL FEATURES: Native spring wildflowers and spring migrant birds are found throughout the forested areas and summer wildflowers in the fields. Autumn colours tend to be muted compared with, for example, Spencer Gorge.
TRAIL NOTES: Extensive trails are what makes this conservation area attractive to so many people. Be aware that some trails are shared equestrian trails. Trails along Spring Creek may be flooded or muddy during times of high run-off. Sloped trails will be dangerously slippery when wet.
